Weekend's coming to an end again. Let's see what I have accomplished over the weekend.

Friday night was a Mid-Autumn Festival Celeb at a 佛堂 off Bukit Merah. The 'celebration' didnt turn out like a celebration to me. It seems more of like a preaching session, which I dun quite feel at ease about. I dunno if I had a pre-existing resistance to such preaching. I just doesn't feel at ease due to several reasons. The formalities are too different. I still prefer tranditional joss stick, the traditional buddism/taoism praying method. The way of communication is too refine for me. I agree that I have rather strong chinese background, but the way of addressing each other makes me feel especially uneasy. It is so 'not-me'. But there are quite some things that interest me in a little way. However, I myself can;t determine if thats fate or thats curiosity. They seem to focus v.much on 'route to heaven' on my first visit. Is the route to heaven so important? Is the after-life so important? If morals and refined culture is being taught and practised, why are they so many squeezing and grabbing food unsightly while queueing for food. And being a little disgusted by this attitude, I settle myself with v.minimal dish which I asked Huijun to get for me in attempt to escape from that unsightly act of selfishness. Aren't they promoting selflessness? I'm interested in the content, but these little things repel me.. I wonder...

A picture taken with Huijun before my camera battery went flat. ;p

Saturday was blading at 2pm! The sun was blasting unusually. I guess it didnt have the chance for the past few weekends, so it decided to use all its energy. As usual, everything starts at 3pm. And on our way, we saw Ivan and Lynn. There goes the Seagaters gang, with Des, Daphne, Xingni, Ivan, Lynn and me!! Heez! I got myself a tone darker. But my hands were having the hand guard on. So er.. the hand wasnt tanned. And I was wearing a cap, so it shield my cheeks, but it fail to shield my protuding areas of the face. Now, I have my nose darker in shade. Haha! And after blading, we went to Peninsula Plaza to ogle at those skates as Daphne was hoping to get one. But it was either there's no size or the price was too steep. She didnt get in the end, probably she'll make her decision next week. I might get the basic k2 blade, at only $138. It is just a basic skates, which I think is sufficient for a beginner's 1st pair of skates.

Sunday's a rest day. But the idea of going to the 佛堂 as Edward recommended is there. But well, I dun think I will be allowed there tonight. Mum will scream. So I had to be a gd daughter. ;p And tmr's Monday Blues...
