It is a highly addictive hobby I do not wish to start.

New Balance 893 and Speed Tank

In view of my adidas which gave me many MEGA blisters, I've got myself a pretty and comfy running shoes. NB893! Well, a shoe good enough for my current distance. As long as it can go a good 10km and maybe up to a 1/2 marathon, I'm very satisfied. This is already my most expensive pair of running shoe so far.

A decent enough shoes, comfy and roomy for my broad feet. And its only 238g in weight. Lovely pretty thing! Link My 3rd NB shoe, getting prettier each pair. :)

As Amex is entitled 15% off, I even made the effort to transfer it (My size was OOS) from Raffles city branch to Novena branch as it is much more convenient for the Amex card holder (Chan) to help me get at 15% off. 

And I can't resist this running top! In my favourite colour, in the lightest material @ 100g/m3, this is love at first sight. 

And I replace my Nike+iPod sensor! 

And that'll be all. No more fascinating buy anymore this month. I've not clocking enough OTs to compensate my buys. I better concentrate on how to improve my timing. Hur hur.... 

There are some other things I wish to write about. Just not in the mood today. *still excited over my new purchases, wondering when can my shoe make its debut*

My dear Chan went oustation in US. And so, you guessed it. She helped me get this in US. It is the 2G, 8Gb version. It works great! And looks great!!!

The jogging season is here!!!

To start things off, this is what I did this early morning! 

The run almost killed me. 10km for 80 mins. 3 more registered runs (Singapore Bay Run, Nike Human Race and GE run) and more to come!! And I need a good shoe. Still contemplating btwn Asics and New Balance. My current shoe gave me more than 5 blisters after a 10km. PAIN!

Busy is a far understatement to my current life. Hectic and packed, tired and lethargic. Sleep-deprived. I look forward to my one week long leave. I look forward to HUi coming back! I look forward to xmas!!!

I prayed for a sunny day for me to jog! I wake up, sunny. But God is too kind, He gave a super scorching sun!! :s *rolls eyes* The heat is all over my body.

My PINK Baby-G

Alright! I finally fulfilled my 'childhood' dream. My PINK Baby-G.

I was deciding between this 2 when I was in another store today. It is the cheapest I've come across so far, selling at $78 for both new and old designs. And since the old design PINK isnt available, well, I'll pass. But a new colour in new design caught my eye. PINK too, but not the baby pink. It is in BRIGHT PINK. I love things less usual. So this is the one. Haha!

Bright vs pale pink. I chose the bright pink. :) I even mms this pic to my dear Gab, whom agreed that the bright pink suits me. The pale pink seems to blend in my skin colour. And pale pink is the usual pink of Baby-G series. While this is an unusual colour for Baby-G. A $78 is a steal.

Of course, I'm not ditching my SEIKO. It still means a lot to me, else I wont spend a few hundreds on it.

I'm just giving myself pre-birthday prezzie. Hahaa!! Its the time of the year! November! Sweet November! :)

The one on the left is the latest design. A pretty face! But a translucent pink strap which can turn yellow after long usage. ($85)

The one on the right is an old model. Normal face but a frosty pink. Can withstand longer wear. (Price: $78)

woohoo!! So I didnt work OT this week! But let me see, I got 3 things I wish to thank God for:-

1) The mobile phone that I was eyeing was OOS islandwide. And I love it so much! I've got a strong fetish for red/black phones. I'm very sure this one will follow me for years!! Its is OOS everywhere. Many people were looking for it, and many pple in forums claim that it is OOS everywhere! But I really thank God, that I managed to get the last set on Fri! But I had to meet Gab for dinner/shopping so I reserved it and went back to collect on Sat morning!! I'm a happy girl. For those who are interested, I got k810i in pulse red colour. I know it isnt the 'in' phone in town. But I so love it. And I have to trade in my slightly faulty w810i when it still has a trade-in value of S$150. I only top up an extra of S$100 for my new phone! It seems like a w810i trade for k810i. Haha! I love love love my new phone! I thank God for giving me this! :)

2) A friend whom I got to know better on our way to TCC! Somehow, I feel that God is moving things between us. We seems to hit off pretty fast and easy! I'm amazed at how easy we can communicate and enjoy the conversation we had. God's at work! I'm glad she feels welcomed and hope she'll be comfortable and grow together in walk with God! *claps* Thank you, Lord.

3) An impromptu decision - Great Eastern Run - 5km. As requested by LH, my bestest buddy, to do one of my favourite activity. How could I reject? Although it was a really last minute decision (like past Sat midnight), I really enjoyed the run. We completed it in abt 35 mins. Had bananas, drinks and ice creams after the jog. Shiok! And I bet it refreshes!! LH, we should do this frequent too! We shall aim the 10km Stan Chart Run NEXT YEAR. Thank God for the great event. I love it!

One thing I wanna thank God. I had a great GL!! I didnt register for the Grat Eastern Run. And when I went, I was shocked to see everyone's having a number tag. And random thoughts came across my mind, Aiwah (my GL's wifey) registered but couldnt make it. I immediately called my GL to ask for the tag number w/o realising it is early Sunday morning at 8am. I only realised when he hung up my call (which was by accident, he pressed the wrong button) that it was way to early to call someone on a Sun morning. He called back, in a sleepish tone. And at the moment, I totally regret dialing him number w/o further considering thoughts. I kept telling him, 'its ok!' and intending to put down the call. But evetually, after being questioned, I told him abt it. I'm really felt relieved that he showed no sense of anger or irritation. He was with his usual nice, cool tempered tone. And he even read me the tag number! I'm really thankful for that. Really. And I'm so sorry for waking my GL up so early!!

Thank you Alvin, my GL, my boss, my friend. I love you!! (Brotherly love I mean) I shall be good.. I will
1) Listen to you and be a good subordinate (at least for next 1 mth --> exclusion clause.. haha!)
2) Save my money
3) Work harder
4) Be the maid for the department for nxt 1 mth (will expire on my bday)

I think I still love my colleagues. They never fail to tickle me. :)

HER!!

She has been flirting with me since Dec 2006. After 8 months of struggle, and knowing she's going to be out of market soon, I decide to have her mine. Priced slightly less than half of a grand.. It hurts my pocket. The 25% off cushioned the pain a little.

But I'm so in love with her!!
